When one thinks about northeastern Ontario one usually thinks about pristine forests, clean air, clear waters, vast unmolested vistas and the majestic beauty that is so often portrayed in images reflective of the region. All these attributes translate into a high quality of life that affords residents and visitors alike access to a myriad of recreational pursuits in a four season environment.
The Northeastern Ontario Recreation Association is dedicated to telegraphing positive messaging regarding the many benefits and outstanding value of parks and recreation. Representing a vast geography, NeORA represents the Districts of Algoma, Cochrane/Temiskaming, Nipissing/Parry Sound and Sudbury/Manitoulin. The new NeORA Brand was created using muted earthy tones consisting of five colours and five shapes representative of the districts being served. The colours speak to the uniqueness of each district and yet the icons seem linked in activity or play conveying the message of unity and common purpose. This new brand presents a playful approach yet is contemporary, clean and distinct. The brand invokes participation in activity and togetherness.
